What is SHDS?

SHDS is an Ethernet service that comes in a variety of speeds from 10Mbps to 1,000Mbps (1Gbps). SHDS directly connects two sites together that are within 25Km of each other using a fibre connection. SHDS connections are typically used to make the local area networks (LANs) at two sites appear to be one single LAN.
