BT Business Protect bundles a number of Cisco Security products providing host based protection on individual PCs and servers.

Cisco Security Agent (CSA)

CSA is installed just once, and because it is a behavioural based system, it provides proactive prevention that can block a range of unwanted activities. We will work with you during installation to block inappropriate usage, then review, amend, and update using the management system. Inappropriate usage could include file types, specific devices, applications or particular urls. CSA can also collaborate with network security devices to increase the effectiveness of the overall network deployment. Anti-virus capabilities will be supported in an upcoming release.

Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance(ASA)

Provides proactive threat defence and secure communications services that stop attacks before they impact business continuity. Providing security at the perimeter of the network with a comprehensive firewall. This also includes advanced application control capabilities to help you effectively control the use of peer-to-peer file sharing, instant messaging, and other non-corporate applications.

Cisco VPN

An integral part of ASA - devices can leverage Cisco Security Agent's personal firewall and host intrusion prevention (HIPS) features to provide robust endpoint security for IP Security (IPSec) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) VPN remote-access users. Providing you with a simple to deploy and use secure remote access solution for mobile workers, small branch offices or even contractors.

You can also include Intrusion Protection Services (IPS) which offers day zero protection for your operating system and data-communications network against rogue applications and unwanted traffic. Content filtering on specific urls and anti-spam and antivirus can also add to your threat protection. BT Business Protect provides you with the ability to analyse your network traffic in real-time and enables you to put in place proactive measures to protect your network.

BT Business Protect Enhanced Services

We can even help you to audit all of your current security risks and provide you with information from your existing security and network data. You can use this to take proactive action.

Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis and Response System (MARS) is a tool that can be used to monitor your network on a short or longer term basis.

We will work with you to analyse the data and make recommendations on how you can improve you network policy. Together we can design and deploy an in-depth network defence solution for a speedy response and resolution to attacks.
